This site serves photographs in JPEG-XL with HDR gain maps. Not all browsers support this yet — here's how to check yours and get the best viewing experience.
Browser Support
Safari 17+
macOS Sonoma or later, iOS 17 or later. Full JPEG-XL support with HDR gain maps — no configuration needed.
Chrome
JPEG-XL decoding is available behind a flag. Once enabled, Chrome renders JXL images natively including HDR gain maps.
Edge & Chromium-based
Same as Chrome — enable the JXL flag in
edge://flags (or equivalent).
Firefox
Firefox does not support JPEG-XL. JPEG fallback images are served automatically.
For the latest compatibility data, see caniuse.com/jpegxl.

chrome://flags/#enable-jxl - 2
